ABOUT SHIPPING

Daniel Dudley is the owner of Dudley's Handmade Shop and the founder of a brand known as Dudley's Hub. Prior to establishing these ventures, he operated a YouTube channel from 2010 to 2019. Following a significant life update, he rejuvenated his online presence in 2021, launching a new YouTube channel titled Dudley's Scale Model Cars, where he specializes in creating 1/24 scale model cars. Since that time, he has consistently sought personal growth and improvement, which ultimately led to the establishment of his shop and brand in 2023.

Daniel faces several challenges, notably dyslexia, which affects his reading and spelling abilities, and major depression, which can impede his productivity. Nevertheless, he is widely recognized for his resilience and determination to not allow these obstacles to hinder his progress. In 2025, Daniel acquired a shed that he named Dudley's Hub HQ.

This space has been transformed into a dedicated workspace, allowing him to engage more deeply in his passions and responsibilities for his shop and brand. The creation of this workspace is significant, as it provides him with an environment that encourages productivity and helps combat the tendency to remain confined to his bedroom due to low morale.

Dudley's Hub HQ is located at Daniel's family home, where he resides with his sister, Nikki, his father, referred to as "Boss Man," and two dogs. One of his motivations for establishing this page is to inform customers of set days for local shipping, which he hopes will streamline their experience. For orders placed using Royal Mail, he requests that customers place their orders in the morning for next-day delivery. Additionally, Daniel wishes to emphasize that the boxes or other packaging materials used for your orders are custom-made by him, which further motivates his request regarding order timing. His working hours extend from Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., with the shop operating from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. During the hours of 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., he focuses on administrative tasks. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., he attends to shop operations, followed by family time and meals from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Evenings from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. are reserved for model building or gaming. Daniel appreciates your understanding regarding his operational hours and logistics.

For Stoke-on-Trent, pickup is available from Monday to Wednesday, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., and customers are requested to notify him in advance via email. In Kidsgrove, delivery is offered from Monday to Wednesday, between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., and again, a prior email notice is appreciated.

To facilitate efficient processing, Daniel kindly requests orders be placed before midday, allowing him the afternoon to prepare packaging materials.

He aims to provide next-day dispatch for such orders, although he notes that once items are handed over to Royal Mail, delivery times are beyond his control. Customers are encouraged to allow a timeframe of up to three weeks for delivery, with the understanding that orders placed on Fridays may take approximately one week.

Nonetheless, he acknowledges that variations may occur and requests that customers follow up accordingly three weeks after the anticipated delivery date. Additionally, customers should be mindful that the holiday season, specifically Christmas and New Year’s Day, may lead to slower processing times, which are again outside his control.

Regarding bank holidays, Daniel is off every weekends and takes a full month off in June and December. While he continues to accept orders during these periods, shipments will be processed the following month.
